Your Daily Tasks as a Warehouse Material Handler
Material Movement and Equipment Operation
Your day will involve moving materials throughout the warehouse, primarily using forklifts or other industrial equipment. Your expertise with these machines will help maintain the flow of goods and support our warehouse operations.
Inventory Management

You’ll assist with cycle counts and help reconcile inventory discrepancies to keep our records up to date. Preparation and Distribution
Prepare raw materials for production or distribution as needed. This may involve packaging products, labeling materials, and ensuring they meet quality standards before they move on to the next stage. Your work here supports our production teams and ensures timely delivery to our clients.
Additional Daily Activities
- Loading and Unloading: You’ll frequently load and unload materials from trucks, requiring physical stamina and precision.
- Maintenance of Equipment: Regularly check and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.
What You Need to Be a Warehouse Material Handler
Educational Requirements and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role. You must also have a forklift certification and at least 2 years of experience in material handling within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
