What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Unloader

As a Warehouse Unloader at Boeing’s Jurupa Valley location, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of goods as they arrive at the warehouse. This is a hands-on position that requires a keen eye for detail, as you’ll be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments for any damage or missing items. Your Daily Tasks as a Warehouse Unloader

Every day, you’ll be tasked with unloading incoming shipments, which involves physically handling packages and pallets. You’ll carefully inspect these shipments to ensure they meet our quality standards, reporting any discrepancies you find. Once verified, you will use RF scanners to track and log inventory into our system, ensuring all items are accounted for. Additionally, you’ll organize incoming shipments on the receiving dock, which helps streamline the storage process. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace is also a crucial part of your role, as it ensures a safe environment for all warehouse staff.

What You Need to Be a Warehouse Unloader

To succeed as a Warehouse Unloader, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical fitness is essential, as the job requires you to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. While basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is preferred, on-the-job training is available. Previous experience in the field, preferably 1+ years, will give you an advantage. Must-have skills include attention to detail, the ability to work well in a team, and effective communication skills. Your hands-on abilities in handling equipment and managing inventory will be crucial to your success in this role.
