What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Loader

As a Warehouse Loader at Lineage Logistics in Culver City, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that products are loaded onto trucks safely and efficiently, ready for transport. Your Daily Tasks as a Warehouse Loader

Load and Secure Shipments

Your primary responsibility will be to load outgoing trucks. You’ll ensure that each load is packed securely to prevent damage during transit. This requires attention to detail and an understanding of load distribution for safe transportation.

Verify Shipment Accuracy

You’ll verify shipment details against manifests to confirm that the correct goods are loaded. This ensures our customers receive exactly what they ordered and helps maintain our reputation for reliability.

Maintain Loading Areas

Keeping the loading docks and staging areas organized is crucial. You’ll help maintain a clean and orderly workspace, which aids in efficient loading and reduces the risk of accidents.

Operate Material Handling Equipment

You will operate forklifts or electric pallet jacks to move heavy goods. This requires skill and precision to safely transport products within the warehouse.

Collaborate with Team Members

Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams is vital to meet shipping deadlines. Communication and collaboration are key to ensuring smooth operations.

Additional Activities

You’ll also assist with inventory management and prepare documents for shipments. Occasionally, you may help with receiving incoming shipments and restocking warehouse shelves.

What You Need to Be a Warehouse Loader

Educational and Experience Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While previous experience in a shipping or receiving environment is preferred, we value a willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, often up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory—we offer training.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork.

Experience
