What You’ll Do as an Assistant Receiving Clerk

Your Daily Tasks as an Assistant Receiving Clerk
Inspect Incoming Shipments
Your day will often begin by inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy. This involves verifying that the contents match the accompanying paperwork and ensuring there are no visible signs of damage. Attention to detail is crucial here, as any discrepancies need to be reported immediately to your supervisor.
Assist with Unloading and Organizing Goods
Once shipments are verified, you’ll assist with unloading trucks and organizing the received goods in designated areas. This task requires physical stamina, as you’ll be handling various sizes and weights of packages. Proper organization is key to maintaining an efficient workflow, so your ability to keep things orderly will be invaluable.
Use RF Scanners for Inventory Logging

Communicate About Damaged or Missing Items

Maintain Cleanliness of the Receiving Dock

What You Need to Be an Assistant Receiving Clerk
Educational and Physical Requirements
