What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Unloader

As a Warehouse Unloader at our Ladera Ranch facility, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your main responsibility is to efficiently and safely unload goods from incoming shipments. This role is vital to ensuring that our products are ready for distribution to our stores and ultimately, to our customers. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are key.

Your Daily Tasks as a Warehouse Unloader

Unload and Inspect Shipments

Your day will start with the unloading of trucks and containers. You’ll need to carefully inspect all incoming goods for any signs of damage or missing items, ensuring that everything is accounted for. This is critical to maintaining the quality and integrity of our inventory.

Organize and Store Goods

Once the shipments have been inspected, you’ll be responsible for organizing and storing the goods in their designated locations within the warehouse. This involves using pallet jacks and other equipment to move products efficiently. You’ll also assist in organizing the receiving dock to ensure a tidy and safe working area.

Inventory Tracking

Using RF scanners, you’ll track and update inventory records as items are received. This ensures that our stock levels are accurate and up-to-date, which is crucial for planning and restocking purposes.

Maintain Safety and Cleanliness

A significant part of your role is to maintain a clean and safe working environment. This includes adhering to all safety protocols, using equipment properly, and ensuring that the workspace is free from hazards.

Additional Daily Activities

You may also be involved in sorting and labeling products, assisting with loading outgoing shipments, and participating in team meetings to discuss daily goals and challenges.

What You Need to Be a Warehouse Unloader

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent. We are looking for candidates with at least 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment. This experience will help you navigate the day-to-day challenges of the job effectively.

Skills and Abilities

You must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is preferred, as this will help you with inventory tracking and organization. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
